The Davis Cup is one of the most prominent international tennis events for men’s tennis. Arranged by The International Tennis Federation where more than 150 countries compete for the coveted title by forming their own teams. Until 2023, 155 teams have gotten the opportunity to take part in the tournament.

The 2024 Davis Cup Finals will take place in different segments. Here we will take a look at the schedule.
Group Stage: September 10 – September 15Â
Knockout Stage: November 18 – November 24
Venues
Location of the tournament this year will mostly be in Europe with the exception of China. Notably the Davis Cup is played on a hard surface indoors. List of the venues are as follows.

Different groups will play in different venues. The games of Group A will take place in Italy, Group B in Spain, Group C in China and Group D in England.
Teams
Italy is the defending team as they won their second title of the tournament defeating Australia in 2023. Then we have Australia that holds the second most titles of the Davis Cup with 28 titles trailing just behind the United States with 32 titles as well as being runners-up for 29 times.
A total of 16 teams will take to the court. Among them are the 2 finalists from previous year, 2 wild card teams consisting of Great Britain and Spain and lastly the 12 winners of the qualifying round held back in February.
Seeds
Based on the Davis Cup ranking the seeds are listed while the defending champion is kept as the first seed and the runner up as the second seed. So, the Top three seeds of the 2024 are as follows

Format and Groups
The 16 teams are divided into a total of four round robin groups where there will be four teams. Consequently from the groups only the top two will qualify for the next round.

Where to Watch
Different broadcasters in different regions will stream the tournament live on their network as well as on live streaming platforms.
In Italy RAI, Sky Italia and Supertennix will broadcast the event. Whereas in Spain the event will be live on Movistar+ and in Great Britain BBC sport will broadcast the tournament.
